What we're looking for.
Essential qualifications
- 18th Edition BS 7671 qualified
- Public liability insurance (minimum £2m)
- Professional references
- Clean DBS check
- Registered with a competent person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT, etc.)
Ideal experience
- EV charging installation experience
- OZEV-approved installer status (or willing to obtain)
- Own tools and vehicle
- Geographic coverage flexibility
- Customer service track record

No — OZEV approval is preferred but not required. We can guide you through the OZEV registration process as part of onboarding.
Earnings depend on your area, availability and install type. Active installers in our network typically complete 8–20+ jobs per month, with transparent per-install rates discussed at assessment.
Lead volume scales with your coverage radius, response times and customer ratings. Most active installers receive a steady weekly pipeline once onboarded.
We currently route work across England, Scotland and Wales. Coverage in some rural postcodes is limited — your application helps us prioritise expansion.
We use a transparent flat-rate per install with bonuses for commercial work and customer ratings. Full breakdown is shared at the assessment stage.
Yes. Our network is non-exclusive — you keep your existing customers and private jobs. We just add more, qualified work on top.
All approved installers complete a Ripon EV onboarding covering product, installation standards, OCPP commissioning, and commercial best practice. Online modules plus a practical day at our Leeds HQ.
